Happy Birthday Megan!

Today is Megan's 3rd Birthday! How crazy is that? I can't believe she's already three! Last Saturday we had her birthday party. We had about 40 of our family and friends help her celebrate. She had so much fun getting all the attention. Here's some pics from her party. We went with and ice cream theme this year since that is Megan's favorite dessert. I had so much fun making her cake and cookies with one of my best friends. I'm so thankful for my mom, sis-in-law, aunts, uncle and cousins for being willing to help me with food. The party was a success!

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend! We started off going to the Good Friday service at church. Before church I asked Megan if she knew why we celebrate Easter and she said "Jesus". I asked her what happened to Jesus and she said "He felled over". I laughed and then tried to explain it to her as much as you can explain the death and ressurection of Jesus to an almost three year old. By the end of the day she was able to tell me that "He died and wose again". She's learning so much from school, church and what we're teaching her at home. I hope that she'll always have a love for Jesus like she does right now.
Easter morning we went to our 8am service at church and then headed to Cracker Barrell for breakfast. The Easter bunny came while we were at church and Megan was very excited to get new markers and a coloring book! We got in a good nap and then went to my parents for Easter dinner.

Andrew wasn't too thrilled about me waking him up to take a picture.

My dad and Andrew. I can't get over how cute the bow tie is!

This is Andrew's friend Levi. They are 10weeks apart. I hope they'll be as good of friends as their siblings are.

These are Megan's BFF's: Ellie, Owen and Caleb. It's so much fun watching them grow up together. We take this picture when we all get to church on Easter Sunday. I'm hoping one year we'll be able to get them all to look at the camera and smile. haha

Introducing....

I know I'm only 2weeks behind, but here are some pics of our new addition. Andrew Michael Kelly was born on 2/9/11 at 7:16pm and weighing 7lbs 6oz. He's so perfect and we love having him apart of our family.

Proud big sister. She loves helping me take care of Drew.

Me and my kiddos.

Baby Update

I'm so bad at blogging. Sorry for the 2 or 3 people that read my blog and expect updates. haha. Anyway, baby Kelly will be here on Wednesday, if not before then. I'm so excited! I never got to the uncomfortable stage with Megan, because she was so early. I feel so sorry for all the moms that go 40 wks or more. Sleeping, eating, breathing....it's all uncomfortable! I'm just ready to see my little or big baby. My doctor is on call Wednesday. He said he would induce me so we could be sure to have him deliver the baby. I love my doctor, so I'm glad he's willing to do this for me. Please pray for a easy labor and delivery and for a healthy baby!!

Getting Close

I'm almost 36 weeks! We are getting so close to meeting our new family member. I can't even begin to describe how anxious I am to meet him/her. I don't remember being this anxious with Megan. I'm wondering if it's because we lost two babies before this one, so I've been ready for this for a long time. I've got the diaper bag packed and my stuff all packed. Baby clothes are washed and put away. The swing and bouncy seat are set up and the bassinet is ready and waiting in our room. Megan was born at 37 weeks, so we'll see if this baby is as excited to come as Megan was. I really hope it doesn't make me wait too much longer!

Cookie Day

I was so excited about making Christmas cookies with Megan this year. I knew she would really enjoy doing it. She had a blast rolling out the dough and cutting out the cookies. However, when it came to the decorating part, she didn't do so great. She thought she could eat every cookie that she decorated. I was about to let that happen. I could just see a hyper toddler running around or puking them all up later.

The finished product. She kept telling me the Christmas lights looked like corn on the cob. I would have to agree with her.

Decorating her cookies. I love how serious her face is. She was really focused on what she was doing.

This is what happens when you tell Megan to say "cheese"!

Sunglasses

Megan has always been obsessed with sunglasses. We have purchased several pairs, because she (or I) tend to lose them. Here's a few pics I took of her wearing her glasses. She insist on wearing them inside and even when it's dark outside. The girl cracks me up.

Getting ready to head to the Children's Museum

Yes, she is asleep. She wanted to wear them during her nap. I never thought she would fall asleep with them on.
